Psalm 87:4-6
New Century Version
4 God says, “I will put Egypt and Babylonia
on the list of nations that know me.
People from Philistia, Tyre, and Cush
will be born there.”
5 They will say about Jerusalem,
“This one and that one were born there.
God Most High will strengthen her.”
6 The Lord will keep a list of the nations.
He will note, “This person was born there.” Selah
Psalm 87:4-6
New International Version
4 “I will record Rahab[a](A) and Babylon
among those who acknowledge me—
Philistia(B) too, and Tyre(C), along with Cush[b]—
and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”[c](D)
5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said,
“This one and that one were born in her,
and the Most High himself will establish her.”
6 The Lord will write in the register(E) of the peoples:
“This one was born in Zion.”
