Young's Literal Translation

7 Upon me hath Thy fury lain, And [with] all Thy breakers Thou hast afflicted. Selah.

8 Thou hast put mine acquaintance far from me, Thou hast made me an abomination to them, Shut up -- I go not forth.

9 Mine eye hath grieved because of affliction, I called Thee, O Jehovah, all the day, I have spread out unto Thee my hands.

7 Your wrath(A) lies heavily on me;
    you have overwhelmed me with all your waves.[a](B)
8 You have taken from me my closest friends(C)
    and have made me repulsive to them.
I am confined(D) and cannot escape;(E)
9     my eyes(F) are dim with grief.

I call(G) to you, Lord, every day;
    I spread out my hands(H) to you.
