³⁹You have ^(A)spurned the covenant of Your servant;
You have ^(B)profaned ^(C)his crown ^[a]in the dust.

New International Version

³⁹You have renounced the covenant with your servant
and have defiled his crown in the dust.^(A)

²¹Do not despise us, ^(A)for Your own name’s sake;
Do not disgrace the ^(B)throne of Your glory;
Remember and do not annul Your covenant with us.

²¹For the sake of your name^(A) do not despise us;
do not dishonor your glorious throne.^(B)
Remember your covenant^(C) with us
and do not break it.
