Psalm 89:40-42

⁴⁰Thou hast broken down all his hedges; Thou hast brought his strongholds to ruin.

⁴¹All that pass by the way despoil him; he is a reproach to his neighbors.

⁴²Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; Thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.

⁴⁰You have broken through all his walls^(A)
    and reduced his strongholds^(B) to ruins.
⁴¹All who pass by have plundered^(C) him;
    he has become the scorn of his neighbors.^(D)
⁴²You have exalted the right hand of his foes;
