¹⁷The wicked go down to the realm of the dead,^(A)
all the nations that forget God.^(B)

¹⁵Let death steal over them;
let them go down to Sheol ^(A)alive;
for evil is in their dwelling place and in their heart.

¹⁵Let death take my enemies by surprise;^(A)
let them go down alive to the realm of the dead,^(B)
for evil finds lodging among them.
