¹⁹^(A)Arise, O Lord! Let not ^(B)man prevail;
let the nations be judged before you!

New International Version

¹⁹Arise,^(A) Lord, do not let mortals triumph;^(B)
let the nations be judged^(C) in your presence.

¹⁸to ^(A)do justice to the fatherless and ^(B)the oppressed,
so that ^(C)man who is of the earth may strike terror no more.

¹⁸defending the fatherless^(A) and the oppressed,^(B)
so that mere earthly mortals
will never again strike terror.
