⁹The Lord is a refuge^(A) for the oppressed,^(B)
a stronghold in times of trouble.^(C)

²¹May the ^(A)oppressed person not return dishonored;
May the ^(B)afflicted and the needy praise Your name.

²¹Do not let the oppressed^(A) retreat in disgrace;
may the poor and needy^(B) praise your name.
