¹² The birds of the sky live beside the springs;
they sing among the foliage.^(A)

²³ I will plant it on Israel’s high mountain^(A)
so that it may bear branches, produce fruit,
and become a majestic cedar.
Birds of every kind will nest under it,^(B)
taking shelter in the shade of its branches.

⁶ All the birds of the sky
nested in its branches,^(A)
and all the animals of the field
gave birth beneath its boughs;
all the great nations lived in its shade.

¹² Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit was abundant,
and on it was food for all.
Wild animals found shelter under it,
the birds of the air^(A) lived in its branches,
and every creature was fed from it.^(B)
