Psalm 107:11-13

¹¹ because they rebelled against God’s commands
and despised the counsel of the Most High.^(A)
12 He broke their spirits^[a] with hard labor;
they stumbled, and there was no one to help.^(B)
13 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble;
he saved them from their distress.^(C)
