Jesus Gives True Rest^(A)

^25 (B)At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that ^(C)You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent ^(D)and have revealed them to babes.

³ and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

¹⁴ But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for ^(A)of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

¹⁹ For ^(A)your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be ^(B)wise in what is good, and ^[a]simple concerning evil.

Sectarianism Is Carnal

3 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to ^(A)babes in Christ.

¹⁴ that we should no longer be ^(A)children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of ^(B)deceitful plotting,

Spiritual Immaturity

¹² For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the ^[a]oracles of God; and you have come to need ^(A)milk and not solid food.

¹³ For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is ^(A)a babe.
