²¹ You have done these things, and I kept silent;
you thought I was just like you.^(A)
But I will rebuke you
and lay out the case before you.^[a](B)

¹¹ Who was it you dreaded and feared,
so that you lied and didn’t remember Me
or take it to heart?
Have I not kept silent for such a long time^[a](A)
and you do not fear Me?

62 I will not keep silent because of Zion,
and I will not keep still because of Jerusalem,^(A)
until her righteousness shines like a bright light^(B)
and her salvation, like a flaming torch.

¹² Lord, after all this, will You restrain Yourself?
Will You keep silent and afflict severely?^(A)

I will not keep silent,^(A) but I will repay;^(B)
