²⁷ Only conduct yourselves in a manner ^(A)worthy of the ^(B)gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear about you that you are ^(C)standing firm in ^(D)one spirit, with one ^[a]mind ^(E)striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Wisdom from Above

¹³ Who among you is wise and understanding? ^(A)Let him show by his ^(B)good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.

¹⁵ but ^[a](A)like the Holy One who called you, ^[b](B)be holy yourselves also ^(C)in all your behavior;

¹⁸ knowing that you were not ^[a](A)redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your ^(B)futile way of life inherited from your forefathers,

^12 (A)Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they ^(B)slander you as evildoers, they may ^[a]because of your good deeds, as they observe them, ^(C)glorify God ^(D)on the day of ^[b]visitation.
