⁸     Let the Lord judge^(A) the peoples.
Vindicate me, Lord, according to my righteousness,^(B)
    according to my integrity,^(C) O Most High.^(D)

¹¹ Then people will say,
    “Surely the righteous still are rewarded;^(A)
    surely there is a God who judges the earth.”^(B)

¹³ The Lord takes his place in court;^(A)
    he rises to judge^(B) the people.

¹⁶ For with fire^(A) and with his sword^(B)
    the Lord will execute judgment^(C) on all people,
    and many will be those slain^(D) by the Lord.

¹² “Let the nations be roused;
    let them advance into the Valley of Jehoshaphat,^(A)
for there I will sit
    to judge^(B) all the nations on every side.
