3 So he carried me away in the Spirit (A)into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting (B)on a scarlet beast which was full of (C)names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman (D)was arrayed in purple and scarlet, (E)and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, (F)having in her hand a golden cup (G)full of abominations and the filthiness of [a]her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written:
(H)MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS
OF THE EARTH.
6 I saw (I)the woman, drunk (J)with the blood of the saints and with the blood of (K)the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit(A) into a wilderness.(B) There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet(C) beast that was covered with blasphemous names(D) and had seven heads and ten horns.(E) 4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls.(F) She held a golden cup(G) in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries.(H) 5 The name written on her forehead was a mystery:(I)
6 I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of God’s holy people,(L) the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus.
When I saw her, I was greatly astonished.

5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
