And I went to the angel, saying to him to give me the little book. And he says to me, Take and eat it up: and it shall make thy belly bitter, but in thy mouth it shall be sweet as honey.

10 And I took the little book out of the hand of the angel, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth as honey, sweet; and when I had eaten it my belly was made bitter.

11 And it was said to me, Thou must prophesy again as to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings.

So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’[a](A) 10 I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth,(B) but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. 11 Then I was told, “You must prophesy(C) again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.”(D)
