16 And the twenty four elders sitting on their thrones in the presence of God fell on their faces and gave-worship to God, 17 saying “We give-thanks to You, Lord God Almighty, the One Who is and Who was[a], because You have taken Your great power, and You began to reign[b]. 18 And the nations became-angry. And Your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Your slaves the prophets, and the saints, and[c] the ones fearing Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy the ones destroying[d] the earth”.

16 And the twenty-four elders,(A) who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces(B) and worshiped God, 17 saying:
“We give thanks(C) to you, Lord God Almighty,(D)
the One who is and who was,(E)
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.(F)
18 The nations were angry,(G)
and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,(H)
and for rewarding your servants the prophets(I)
and your people who revere your name,
both great and small(J)—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”
