2 However, exclude the outer court of the temple from your measurements, because it has been handed over to the Gentiles and they will trample on the holy city for forty-two months.[a] 3 I will grant my two witnesses authority to prophesy for those twelve hundred and sixty days, wearing sackcloth.”
4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand in the presence of the Lord of the earth.

2 But exclude the outer court;(A) do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles.(B) They will trample on the holy city(C) for 42 months.(D) 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses,(E) and they will prophesy for 1,260 days,(F) clothed in sackcloth.”(G) 4 They are “the two olive trees”(H) and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.”[a](I)

3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
