The Lamb and the 144,000

14 Then I looked, and behold, on ^(A)Mount Zion ^(B)stood the Lamb, and with him ^(C)144,000 who ^(D)had his name and his Father's name written ^(E)on their foreheads.

^4 (A)They will see his face, and ^(B)his name will be on their foreheads.

⁴ And the Lord said to him, “Pass through the city, through Jerusalem, and ^(A)put a mark on the foreheads of the men who ^(B)sigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in it.”

¹⁶ Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave,^{[a] (A)}to be marked on the right hand or the forehead,

^8 (A)Behold, I have made your face as hard as their faces, and your forehead as hard as their foreheads. ⁹ Like ^(B)emery harder than flint have I made your forehead. ^(C)Fear them not, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house.”
