New Testament for Everyone
14 They will make war with the lamb, and the lamb will conquer them, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings. Those with him are called and chosen and faithful.
15 “As for the waters you saw,” he continued, “where the whore was sitting, these are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. 16 The ten horns you saw, and the monster, will hate the whore and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and then burn her in the fire.

14 They will wage war(A) against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over(B) them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings(C)—and with him will be his called, chosen(D) and faithful followers.”
15 Then the angel said to me, “The waters(E) you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.(F) 16 The beast and the ten horns(G) you saw will hate the prostitute.(H) They will bring her to ruin(I) and leave her naked;(J) they will eat her flesh(K) and burn her with fire.(L)
