Revelation 18:20-22
Good News Translation
20 (A)Be glad, heaven, because of her destruction! Be glad, God's people and the apostles and prophets! For God has condemned her for what she did to you!
21 (B)Then a mighty angel picked up a stone the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “This is how the great city Babylon will be violently thrown down and will never be seen again. 22 (C)The music of harps and of human voices, of players of the flute and the trumpet, will never be heard in you again! No workman in any trade will ever be found in you again; and the sound of the millstone will be heard no more!

20 “Rejoice over her, you heavens!(A)
Rejoice, you people of God!
Rejoice, apostles and prophets!
For God has judged her
with the judgment she imposed on you.”(B)
The Finality of Babylon’s Doom
21 Then a mighty angel(C) picked up a boulder the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea,(D) and said:
“With such violence
the great city(E) of Babylon will be thrown down,
never to be found again.
22 The music of harpists and musicians, pipers and trumpeters,
will never be heard in you again.(F)
No worker of any trade
will ever be found in you again.
The sound of a millstone
will never be heard in you again.(G)
