¹² His eyes are like ·burning [blazing; flames of] fire [Dan. 10:6], and on his head are many ·crowns [diadems; royal crowns; ^Ccontrast 12:3; 13:1]. He has a name written on him, which no one but himself knows. ¹³ He is dressed in a ·robe [garment] dipped in blood [^Cindicating judgment; Is. 63:1–3], and his name is the Word of God [John 1:1]. ¹⁴ The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and ·clean [pure], were following him on white horses.
