2 “To the angel of the church in (A)Ephesus write:
This is what the One who holds (B)the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks [a](C)among the seven golden lampstands, says:
2 ‘(D)I know your deeds and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot bear with those who are evil, and you (E)put to the test those who call themselves (F)apostles, and they are not, and you found them to be false; 3 and you have perseverance and have [b]endured (G)for My name’s sake, you also have not grown weary.

These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand(B) and walks among the seven golden lampstands.(C) 2 I know your deeds,(D) your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested(E) those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.(F) 3 You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name,(G) and have not grown weary.
