27 and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and like the vessels of a potter shall he break them to pieces. Even as I received of my Father, 28 so will I give him the morning star. 29 Let him who has ears hear what the Spirit says to the congregations.

27 that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter(A) and will dash them to pieces like pottery’[a](B)—just as I have received authority from my Father. 28 I will also give that one the morning star.(C) 29 Whoever has ears, let them hear(D) what the Spirit says to the churches.
