3 and thou hast [a]patience and didst bear for my name’s sake, and hast not grown weary. 4 But I have this against thee, that thou didst leave thy first love. 5 Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I come to thee, and will move thy [b]candlestick out of its place, except thou repent.

3 You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name,(A) and have not grown weary.
4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.(B) 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent(C) and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand(D) from its place.
