13 There were three gates facing east, three north, three south, and three west.(A) 14 The wall of the city had twelve courses of stones as its foundation, on which were inscribed the twelve names of the twelve apostles[a] of the Lamb.(B)
15 [b]The one who spoke to me held a gold measuring rod to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.

13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations,(A) and on them were the names of the twelve apostles(B) of the Lamb.
15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod(C) of gold to measure the city, its gates(D) and its walls.
