10 Because you kept my command to endure, I will keep you safe through the time of testing that is about to come over the whole world, to test those who live on earth. 11 I’m coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one takes your crown. 12 As for those who emerge victorious, I will make them pillars in the temple of my God, and they will never leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the New Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from my God. I will also write on them my own new name.

10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you(A) from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world(B) to test(C) the inhabitants of the earth.(D)
11 I am coming soon.(E) Hold on to what you have,(F) so that no one will take your crown.(G) 12 The one who is victorious(H) I will make a pillar(I) in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God(J) and the name of the city of my God,(K) the new Jerusalem,(L) which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
