7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia, write— These things says the Holy One, the True One, the One having the key[a] of David, the One opening and no one will shut, and shutting and no one opens. 8 I know your works[b]. Behold— I have given before you an opened door[c] (which, no one is able to shut it). Because[d] you have a little[e] power[f], and you kept My word, and you did not deny My name,

These are the words of him who is holy(C) and true,(D) who holds the key of David.(E) What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. 8 I know your deeds.(F) See, I have placed before you an open door(G) that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.(H)
