6 Let him who has ears hear what the Spirit says to the congregations.
7 And write to the tidings-bringer of the congregation of Philadelphia: This says he that is holy and true, who has the key of David – who opens and no man shuts, and shuts and no man opens. 8 I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it. For you have a little strength, and have kept my sayings, and have not denied my name.

To the Church in Philadelphia
7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia(B) write:
These are the words of him who is holy(C) and true,(D) who holds the key of David.(E) What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. 8 I know your deeds.(F) See, I have placed before you an open door(G) that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.(H)
