Revelation 4:6-11

⁶and before the throne there was something like a ^(A)sea of glass, like crystal; and in the ^[a]center and ^(B)around the throne, ^(C)four living creatures ^(D)full of eyes in front and behind. ⁷^(E)The first living creature was like a lion, the second creature like a calf, the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle. ⁸And the ^(F)four living creatures, each one of them having ^(G)six wings, are ^(H)full of eyes around and within; and ^(I)day and night ^[b]they do not cease to say,

“^(J)Holy, holy, holy is the ^(K)Lord God, the Almighty, ^(L)who was and who is and who ^[c]is to come.”

⁹And when the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to Him who ^(M)sits on the throne, to ^(N)Him who lives forever and ever, ¹⁰the ^(O)twenty-four elders will ^(P)fall down before Him who ^(Q)sits on the throne, and they will worship ^(R)Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their ^(S)crowns before the throne, saying,

¹¹“^(T)Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You ^(U)created all things, and because of Your will they ^[d]existed, and were created.”

⁶Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass,^(A) clear as crystal.

In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures,^(B) and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.^(C) ⁷The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.^(D) ⁸Each of the four living creatures^(E) had six wings^(F) and was covered with eyes all around,^(G) even under its wings. Day and night^(H) they never stop saying:

“‘Holy, holy, holy

is the Lord God Almighty,’^[a]^(I)

who was, and is, and is to come.”^(J)

⁹Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne^(K) and who lives for ever and ever,^(L) ¹⁰the twenty-four elders^(M) fall down before him^(N) who sits on the throne^(O) and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

¹¹“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
    to receive glory and honor and power,^(P)
for you created all things,
    and by your will they were created
    and have their being.”^(Q)
