2 And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon had a bow; and there was given unto him a crown: and he came forth conquering, and to conquer.
3 And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come[a]. 4 And another horse came forth, a red horse: and to him that sat thereon it was given to take [b]peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse!(A) Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown,(B) and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.(C)
3 When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature(D) say, “Come!” 4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one.(E) Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth(F) and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.
