2 Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, (A)“Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God (B)on their foreheads.” 4 (C)And I heard the number of those who were sealed. (D)One hundred and forty-four thousand (E)of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal(A) of the living God.(B) He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:(C) 3 “Do not harm(D) the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads(E) of the servants of our God.” 4 Then I heard the number(F) of those who were sealed: 144,000(G) from all the tribes of Israel.
