¹⁷ And this is how I saw the horses in my vision and those who rode them: they wore breastplates the colour of fire and of sapphire^[a] and of sulphur, and the heads of the horses were ^(A)like lions' heads, and fire and smoke and sulphur came out of their mouths.

¹⁸ And another angel came out from the altar, ^(A)the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, ^(B)for its grapes are ripe.”
