² Be constantly alert, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. ³ So ^(A)remember ^[a]what you have received and heard; and ^[b]keep it, and ^(B)repent. Then if you are not alert, ^(C)I will come ^(D)like a thief, and you will not know at ^(E)what hour I will come to you.

¹⁵ ‘^(A)I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; ^(B)I wish that you were cold or hot. ¹⁶ So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth. ¹⁷ Because you say, “^(C)I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have no need of anything,” and you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked, ¹⁸ I advise you to ^(D)buy from Me ^(E)gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and ^(F)white garments so that you may clothe yourself and ^(G)the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to apply to your eyes so that you may see.

^6 (A)who will repay each person according to his deeds: ⁷ to those who by ^(B)perseverance in doing good seek ^(C)glory, honor, and ^(D)immortality, He will give ^(E)eternal life;
