¹³ Let’s ^[a](A)behave properly as in the day, ^(B)not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and debauchery, not in strife and jealousy.

³ For ^(A)the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, ^[a](B)having pursued a course of indecent behavior, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and wanton idolatries.

⁵ Now when Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of it; and Aaron made a proclamation and said, “Tomorrow shall be a feast to the Lord.” ⁶ So the next day they got up early and ^(A)offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and ^(B)the people sat down to eat and to drink, and got up ^(C)to engage in lewd behavior.
