¹⁹ For the report of your obedience ^(A)has reached everyone; therefore I am rejoicing over you, but ^(B)I want you to be wise in what is good, and innocent in what is evil.

¹⁵ Be diligent to ^(A)present yourself approved to God as a worker who ^[a]does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling ^(B)the word of truth.

^17 (A)Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

¹² For though ^[a]by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you ^(A)the ^[b](B)elementary principles of the ^(C)actual words of God, and you have come to need ^(D)milk and not solid food. ¹³ For everyone who partakes only of milk is unacquainted with the word of righteousness, for he is an ^(E)infant. ¹⁴ But solid food is for ^(F)the mature, who because of practice have their senses ^(G)trained to ^(H)distinguish between good and evil.
