²⁷ Now ^(A)He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints ^(B)according to the will of God.

²³ I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who ^(A)searches^[a] the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

⁷ Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but ^(A)if I depart, I will send Him to you. ⁸ And when He has ^(B)come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: ^9 (C)of sin, because they do not believe in Me;

⁹ “As for you, my son Solomon, ^(A)know the God of your father, and serve Him ^(B)with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for ^(C)the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. ^(D)If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will ^(E)cast you off forever.
