⁸ But what does it say? “^(A)The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

¹⁷ So faith comes from ^(A)hearing, and hearing by ^(B)the word ^[a]of Christ.

² looking only at Jesus, the ^[a](A)originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him ^(B)endured the cross, ^(C)despising the shame, and has ^(D)sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

¹⁷ For in it ^(A)the righteousness of God is revealed ^[a]from faith to faith; as it is written: “^[b](B)But the righteous one will live by faith.”

¹⁹ because ^(A)that which is known about God is evident ^[a]within them; for God made it evident to them.

⁵ Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith ^(A)supply ^(B)moral ^[a]excellence, and in your moral excellence, ^(C)knowledge, ⁶ and in your knowledge, ^(D)self-control, and in your self-control, ^(E)perseverance, and in your perseverance, ^(F)godliness, ⁷ and in your godliness, ^(G)brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.

^27 (A)All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father ^(B)except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.
