⁴ so that the ^(A)requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who ^(B)do not walk ^[a]according to the flesh but ^[b]according to the Spirit.

³¹ Do we then nullify ^[a]the Law through faith? ^(A)Far from it! On the contrary, we ^(B)establish the Law.

¹⁰ Love ^[a]does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore ^(A)love is the fulfillment of the Law.

⁴ For ^(A)Christ is the ^[a]end of the Law for righteousness to ^(B)everyone who believes.

²² But ^(A)the fruit of the Spirit is ^(B)love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, ^(C)self-control; against such things ^(D)there is no law. ²⁴ Now those who ^[a]belong to ^(E)Christ Jesus ^(F)crucified the flesh with its passions and ^(G)desires.

¹⁴ For ^(A)the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “^(B)You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” ¹⁵ But if you ^(C)bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

¹⁶ But I say, ^(D)walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out ^(E)the desire of the flesh. ¹⁷ For ^(F)the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, ^(G)in order to keep you from doing whatever you want. ¹⁸ But if you are ^(H)led by the Spirit, ^(I)you are not under the Law.

⁸ Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for ^(A)the one who loves ^[a]his neighbor has fulfilled the Law. ⁹ For this, “^(B)You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “^(C)You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” ¹⁰ Love ^[b]does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore ^(D)love is the fulfillment of the Law.
