⁵ Through him we have received grace and apostleship^(A) to bring about^[a] the obedience^(B) of faith for the sake of his name among all the Gentiles,^[b](C)

¹⁵ Nevertheless, I have written to remind you more boldly on some points^[a] because of the grace given me by God^(A)

¹⁰ According to God’s grace that was given to me, I have laid a foundation as a skilled master builder,^[a] and another builds on it. But each one is to be careful how he builds on it.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.^(A)

⁹ When James,^(A) Cephas,^[a](B) and John^(C)—those recognized as pillars^(D)—acknowledged the grace that had been given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to me and Barnabas, agreeing that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.
