30 At one time you refused to obey God. But now you have received mercy, because those people refused to obey. 31 And now the Jews refuse to obey, because God showed mercy to you. But this happened so that they also can[a] receive mercy from him. 32 God has given all people over to their stubborn ways so that he can show mercy to all.

30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient(A) to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[a] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience(B) so that he may have mercy on them all.
