Romans 13:12

New International Version

¹²The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.^(A) So let us put aside the deeds of darkness^(B) and put on the armor^(C) of light.

¹²The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

⁸For you were once^(A) darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light^(B)

⁸For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

⁴But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness^(A) so that this day should surprise you like a thief.^(B)

⁴But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
