7 (A)Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honour to whom honour is owed.
Fulfilling the Law Through Love
8 (B)Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for (C)the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, (D)“You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet”, and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: (E)“You shall love your neighbour as yourself.”

Love Fulfills the Law
8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.(B) 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”[a](C) and whatever other command there may be, are summed up(D) in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b](E)
