Romans 14:17-19
Disciples’ Literal New Testament
17 For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness[a] and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 For the one serving[b] Christ in this is pleasing to God and approved by people.
Let Us Be Pursuing Peace And Things That Build Up, Not Things That Tear Down
19 So then, let us be pursuing the things of [c] peace and the things of edification for one another.

17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking,(A) but of righteousness, peace(B) and joy in the Holy Spirit,(C) 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.(D)
19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace(E) and to mutual edification.(F)
