26 for Macedonia(A) and Achaia[a](B) were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. 27 Yes, they were pleased, and indeed are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual benefits,(C) then they are obligated to minister to Jews in material needs. 28 So when I have finished this and safely delivered the funds[b] to them,(D) I will visit you on the way to Spain.

For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.(D) 28 So after I have completed this task and have made sure that they have received this contribution, I will go to Spain(E) and visit you on the way.
