16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. The congregations of Christ send greetings to you.
17 I beseech you, brethren, to mark those who cause division and give occasion to evil, contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught, and avoid them. 18 For such people do not serve the Lord Jesus Christ, but their own interests, and with sweet preaching and flattering words deceive the hearts of the simple and unlearned.

17 I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned.(B) Keep away from them.(C) 18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ,(D) but their own appetites.(E) By smooth talk and flattery they deceive(F) the minds of naive people.
