American Standard Version
27 and shall not the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who with the letter and circumcision art a transgressor of the law? 28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh: 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

27 The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you(A) who, even though you have the[a] written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
28 A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly,(B) nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.(C) 29 No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart,(D) by the Spirit,(E) not by the written code.(F) Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.(G)
