⁸ but to those who are ^(A)self-serving and ^(B)do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give wrath and indignation.

¹⁴ But if you have bitter ^(A)jealousy and ^[a]selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against ^(B)the truth. ¹⁵ This wisdom is not that which comes down ^(C)from above, but is ^(D)earthly, ^[b](E)natural, ^(F)demonic. ¹⁶ For where ^(G)jealousy and ^[c]selfish ambition exist, ^[d]there is disorder and every evil thing. ¹⁷ But the wisdom ^(H)from above is first ^(I)pure, then ^(J)peace-loving, ^(K)gentle, ^[e]reasonable, ^(L)full of mercy and good fruits, ^[f](M)impartial, free of ^(N)hypocrisy. ¹⁸ And the ^(O)fruit of righteousness is sown in peace ^[g]by those who make peace.
