Romans 2:3-8
New King James Version
3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you despise (A)the riches of His goodness, (B)forbearance, and (C)longsuffering, (D)not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? 5 But in accordance with your hardness and your [a]impenitent heart (E)you are [b]treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who (F)“will render to each one according to his deeds”: 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and (G)do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath,

3 But do you suppose this, [a](A)you foolish person who passes judgment on those who practice such things, and yet does them as well, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you think lightly of (B)the riches of His (C)kindness and [b](D)restraint and (E)patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? 5 But [c]because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart (F)you are storing up wrath for yourself (G)on the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 (H)who will repay each person according to his deeds: 7 to those who by (I)perseverance in doing good seek (J)glory, honor, and (K)immortality, He will give (L)eternal life; 8 but to those who are (M)self-serving and (N)do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give wrath and indignation.

Amplified Bible
3 But do you think this, O man, when you judge and condemn those who practice such things, and yet do the same yourself, that you will escape God’s judgment and elude His verdict? 4 Or do you have no regard for the wealth of His kindness and tolerance and patience [in withholding His wrath]? Are you [actually] unaware or ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness leads you to repentance [that is, to change your inner self, your old way of thinking—seek His purpose for your life]? 5 But because of your callous stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are [deliberately] storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 He will pay back to each person according to his deeds [justly, as his deeds deserve]:(A) 7 to those who by persistence in doing good seek [unseen but certain heavenly] glory, honor, and immortality, [He will give the gift of] eternal life. 8 But for those who are selfishly ambitious and self-seeking and disobedient to the truth but responsive to wickedness, [there will be] wrath and indignation.

3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches(A) of his kindness,(B) forbearance(C) and patience,(D) not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?(E)
5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath(F), when his righteous judgment(G) will be revealed. 6 God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”[a](H) 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor(I) and immortality,(J) he will give eternal life.(K) 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil,(L) there will be wrath and anger.(M)
