^4 (A)May it never be! Rather, let God be true and every man ^(B)a liar, as it is written,

^6 (A)May it never be! For otherwise, how will ^(B)God judge the world?

³¹ Do we then abolish ^[a]the Law through faith? ^(A)May it never be! On the contrary, we ^(B)establish the Law.

^2 (A)May it never be! How shall we who ^(B)died to sin still live in it?

Slaves of Righteousness

¹⁵ What then? ^(A)Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? ^(B)May it never be!

^7 (A)What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? ^(B)May it never be! Rather, ^(C)I would not have come to know sin except ^[a]through the Law. For I would not have known about ^[b]coveting if the Law had not said, “^(D)You shall not ^[c]covet.”

The Conflict of Two Natures

¹³ Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? ^(A)May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by working out my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would ^[a]become utterly sinful.

^14 (A)What shall we say then? ^(B)Is there any unrighteousness with God? ^(C)May it never be!

God Has Not Rejected Israel

11 I say then, has God ^(A)rejected His people? ^(B)May it never be! For ^(C)I too am an Israelite, a seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
