^4 (A)May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found ^(B)a liar, as it is written,

^6 (A)May it never be! For otherwise, how will ^(B)God judge the world?

³¹ Do we then nullify ^[a]the Law through faith? ^(A)May it never be! On the contrary, we ^(B)establish the Law.

^2 (A)May it never be! How shall we who ^(B)died to sin still live in it?

¹⁵ What then? ^(A)Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? ^(B)May it never be!

^7 (A)What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? ^(B)May it never be! On the contrary, ^(C)I would not have come to know sin except ^[a]through the Law; for I would not have known about ^[b]coveting if the Law had not said, “^(D)You shall not ^[c]covet.”

¹³ Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? ^(A)May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by effecting my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

^14 (A)What shall we say then? ^(B)There is no injustice with God, is there? ^(C)May it never be!

Israel Is Not Cast Away

11 I say then, God has not ^(A)rejected His people, has He? ^(B)May it never be! For ^(C)I too am an Israelite, ^[a]a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
